As the race takes place, a Gen AI commentary engine built on Topaz’s AI foundation will deliver real-time, context-aware race narration.

There are interactive engagement features planned which allows audiences to get in on the action and predict the podium outcomes both in practice and qualifying sessions.

Fans can also vote for PIF Driver of the Race.

Another interesting feature is the PITBOOST tracking which allows fans to track the fast-charging capabilities in the mandatory pit stops.

This offers eyes on the charge stops and opens fans can track how the driver positions might affect the momentum of the race.

Moving closer to the race

The AI-enhanced fan experience will help bring viewers as close to the track as possible and sits well with Formula E’s strategy of attracting a younger, more digitally native audience.

Combining live telemetry, timing data and race control inputs, Infosys and Formula E’s AI Race Centre are churning them into a single, user-facing interface in real time – turning fan experience to pole position.
